The Riverside Barn combines the peace, tranquility and beauty of a typical French country setting with a host of recreational activites for those who want a more active holiday.

Nestled on the banks of the River Dronne in a small hamlet only two kilometres from the local village, the barn is surrounded by the kind of countryside that has made the Dordogne so famous; winding rivers and streams that meander through woodland and fields of sunflowers.

The valley offers plenty of opportunities for excitement with many market towns  and many activities such as rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, horse riding, fishing and tennis readily available locally.

The Riverside Barn

  The barn was built in 1912 of local stone and converted to a home in 1997.  It has been sypathetically modernised whilst maintaining the spacious feeling and character of an old country building.

The barn comprises a massive central living area with two bedrooms, a double and a twin. in the converted hay loft.   There is a modern bathroom, laundry room and fully equipped kitchen.

Outside just step through French windows into a private garden that leads to a deck with a gorgeous view over the tree-lined river that flows below.
